Step #1 Find the Right Grants

Step #2 Registration

Before you are able to apply for free government grants, you must register for an account with grants.gov. On the registration page, you must apply for at least one government grant to get started. Key in one of the Opportunity Numbers that you have jotted down earlier.

After that, you will arrive at an authorization site where you should be able to verify your registration details and provide your digital signature. After the registration process, you will be receiving an authorization e-mail or letter via snail mail.
